Thank you to all who supported our fourth annual Butterfly Kisses. Approximately eighty supporters gathered and spent the evening connecting, celebrating, remembering, honoring and enjoying.  
Together we raised $
12,100 to be used to support our mission: serving the unique needs of grieving children and their families.

Pool Tournament 2014
Thank you to all who joined, supported, or donated to us for the first Pool Tournament that took place on March 1, 2014. We are looking forward to making this an annual event!

Donna Schuurman Grief Talk
FOSTERING RESILIENCE IN CHILDREN  FOLLOWING TRAUMA AND LOSS

Dr. Donna Schuurman returns to Lynchburg. She will discuss how to help children and young adults process tragedy in healthy ways.

Thursday, March 6th - Free Community Talk, 6:30pm, Chapel,
    Webster Hall, Presbyterian Homes and Family Services - Drive on to the campus, travel in front of the houses and main administration building. At fourth building, Bain, turn right into a parking lot. Webster will be second right from this parking lot. 
Friday, March 7th - Full Day Workshop, $95

Random Acts of Kindness Week

We invited all of our participants to perform a random act of kindness in honor of Valenitne's Day during the next two weeks. We asked them to take a card with a positive message and place it somewhere a stranger would find it, or hand it to someone or … mail it to someone.

We are thrilled to announce that Kids' Haven is partnering with Lynchburg College's Spiritual Life and Counseling Center to begin a grief group on the college's campus. This will be our first partnership with a local college. from 7pm - 8pm 


Spring 2013 Facilitator Training
Train to become a facilitator:  Dee Edwards will offer training to those interested Wednesdays, March 20th and April 10th, from 6pm - 9 pm.
